No, I really can't be bothered because BRAIN HURTS...

I am coming out the second migraine I've had in ten days. I am also smart enough to recognise when my body is adapting to circumstance, where a major change in diet and exercise is the cause of many of my issues. There is not much stress right now, in fact I'm probably more chill about Things than has been the case for some time. Instead of writing I decide to do some clearing out instead.

My upper arms have effectively doubled in circumference in the last six months. This means that at least a third of my shirts are impossible to get on, and this issue has been steadfastly ignored up to now. It has been simply easier to pretend that the problem does not exist. So, instead of wandering around listlessly not dealing with the issue today, I have dealt with it.

I've created a Vinted account and we will start selling in June.

There were two new people at the Stanza yesterday, which has cheered me greatly. It's been a slow build after the last few months, and the issues with venue I thought might put us back were a genuine concern for a while. As it stands things are looking very healthy going into the second half of the year. I have two sessions planned for June and July (not what I'd intended to do) and the possibility to present a Showcase for the poets later in the year.

Starting tomorrow you'll get a post a day from me on Ghost for seven days, or you'll get nothing for a week. It's going to depend on how easy or otherwise it is to get the UI running on my iPad (as I'll be at Metal all week without my PC access). I've not quite got to that bit of the faff yet, there's still Art Trail things to sort and a letter to send to everyone involved with the Telephone Box Exhibition.

My plans have had to change, and we're having to rejig planning as a result.

Official Poster GO!

I'll be doing a reading to coincide with the opening of this on Zoom. It's a Pay as you Feel event as a couple of people have asked if they could donate to what I'm doing right now, so this seems like a decent way to do that. I'll also be formally announcing this on Instagram tomorrow, so you guys get the first proper look (apart from my Supporters Club who knew about this on Friday).

Poetry from ‘The Women in the Photographs’ read by S. Reeson.
A selection of poetry that forms an exhibition at the Clifftown Telephone Museum between June 27th and July 24th 2026. Read by the author :D

Right, lets see if I CAN get this working on the Tablet, or things are about to go quiet... ^^
